he wasn't asking a rhetorical question, little miss poopants...

the answer is, the sbd/pa mix levels had to now accomodate another keyboard...thus everything sounds more flat/ crunchy in that it's a very cluttered sound, way too much midrange...not enough seperation...92 evened out and by 93 the sound again sounded more compressed...

Sorry. That almost sounds right except for i wouldn't incorporate flat with crunchy, you wanna hear a sbd that I would consider "flat" hit up an 81 board.

I was gonna post a link to the 4/7/91 Orlando Arena show but it has been removed from the archive. Awesome show. If you have it you will know what I mean, if you don't you should seek it out.
